Handling devices and robotized workplaces

An integral part of the equipment with a high degree of automation is formed by handling devices for input components and final products. Handling devices are designed and manufactured with various levels of intelligence, i.e. from pneumatic ones which can move to extreme positions, to servo-electric ones whose characteristics resemble that of robots, which are also being used in these cases. A robotised workplace is understood to be such a place, where the main technology is provided by a robot or which cooperates directly with the robot. In our workplaces we have employed robots manufactured by companies ABB and Fanuc, but it is possible to use other manufacturers as well. The volume of annual production is 20 – 40 mil. CZK.
